Is Derren Brown a magician? – Magic Tricks With Coins Easy In Hindi
I’m not sure. He says he has a secret. Or that he has an agenda. “When you have someone who claims that they’re the best in the world, and then they get killed, like Charlie Gard, or a 9/11 victim, or a Holocaust survivor, or a 9/11 victim. And then they can’t come out for at least four years, then they go back to being known as the best in the world, and then they’re killed again. That happens a lot more than I would like to admit,” he says. When I ask him how he’s going to reconcile himself to that, he seems a little confused. “We’re going through a difficult time. I don’t know what my job is. I don’t know how to solve this.”

Brown began his life as a clown, but now his career is more professional. He is married with children, he keeps them busy by doing stand-up or acting, working out with them or just spending quality time together. He is also an actor – he is currently in a play in the London stage called “Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Come Back”. He is self-confessed a “good father”, and this makes him feel good about putting up with all of Derren’s “uncomfortable” business. Like many of the people I’ve spent time with over the last year, Brown is genuinely surprised he is still alive. “Why? Who would do that? Who could do that? Who does that? I would have given up a long time ago.”
Brown’s life is more normal now. If he ever decides to retire his children have always been given to him for free, and he can do little about his schedule. He makes time for his daughters (whose youngest is 14) and his wife, the writer and activist, Rachel Williams, and they eat a lot together to make sure they can continue with their education. “They get so much out of their day. They want to be so much more than their parents are now – people who are the best example for their children,” he says. “It’s more than a love of animals and plants, it’s about an understanding of the world we’re living within, and we need to do that for our kids to be able to live up to the values our society instils in them.”
