If you can live with the battery-draining Android Lollipop, the Moto G4 Plus offers a lot for just over $200 off of Verizon or its own authorized Motorola sites. Its build quality isn’t as fantastic as the Moto G5 Plus or the OnePlus 5T or the G5, which means it is still a tad fragile, but the display looks stunning and looks like a better alternative to the Galaxy S7 than the HTC 10. The Moto G4 Plus has a lot to love about it: it looks and feels great, it’s Android 5.0 Lollipop and it runs on a powerful, Snapdragon 821 chipset. The phone, which was released on January 11th, is powered by a 32-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor that is capable of handling 3GB of RAM and a 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution display. It’s got all the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support that you’ll want too, but there is no headphone jack either. Other specs on the phone include 4 gigabytes of RAM and a 6-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor that supports 4GB of RAM. The Moto G4 Plus is powered by a 2500mAh battery that is backed by Quick Charge 2.0. The device has a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 USB Type-C port. The Moto G4 Plus’ display runs at 1440 x 2560 pixels using a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The device has a 13-megapixel Sony sensor with f/1.7 aperture.
