MILITARY BASED PARTS
MILITARY BASED PARTS (MBP for short) is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together all types of military components from the National Guard, Reserves and Veterans and is home to the largest collection of military components in the USA. Through MBP, members and friends can have fun painting items that speak to their military pride, while serving their nation by building a network of enthusiasts to join our effort!
How do I get involved?
The first thing one must realize is that every piece of artwork is unique. It is your responsibility to make sure to purchase pieces that speak to you; if you know people who might be interested in a certain subject, you may make the purchase in the future to ensure that your contribution will be remembered and appreciated! The next thing you have to do is find out where you’d like to paint. From there you can begin to decide on the type of paint or technique that you’d like to try. A big reason to join us is because we have all sorts of classes that can be designed to best suit your specific interests, skills and abilities, so what you’re getting once you participate in whatever class or activities are chosen will not cost you an arm and a leg. If we aren’t a fun or engaging group of members, your purchase of a piece will not only be made easier, but it will help ensure that some of your hard earned money is spent in an enjoyable way rather than a waste.
You will be responsible for paying for your own paint, which will be shipped in the same packages with the rest of the components and in a much smaller container than the rest of the items. This will also mean that supplies will be a little limited. You will also have to provide your own materials (such as watercolors, markers, water colors, and stencils), which will be brought to you from the store. We highly recommend purchasing all materials
