Double Ball Roulette (DBR) is an interactive dice game from the makers of Candy Crush Saga and Dice City™.
How does the game work?
You start by rolling a small number of dice. Each die contains its own number of heads and tails. If you roll a three, you get to place another three in your hand. If you don’t roll a three, you discard one face of each die and place that back on the table. Next, you roll again. If you’ve rolled any number of heads and tails (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15,…), you place one die face up next to the other dice (so if you roll a 7 head, you place a 9 and an 11) and repeat the process.
Players begin with ten coins and can use all their remaining coins to buy new dice, and buy new dice with their remaining coins.
The second player starts with the same number of coins and can use them to buy, or discard, new dice, dice with different numbers of heads and tails, and dice with their own individual number of heads and tails.
Dice will remain in our hands until one player places a die in the hole of the table.
What happens if a player doesn’t use their dice?
If a player does not use their dice, that means that the second dice player has the chance to use the remaining coins on the game board. If a player uses their coins and doesn’t place the die that they rolled on the table, then the table becomes empty. Whoever rolls the highest number of Heads and/or Tails wins! (We’ve found that some players like to wait for players to roll on the table, and they’re happy to win at that point.)
The winner is determined by the amount of coins that were spent on the game with the first player who rolled the highest number of heads. This could be the player himself or the first player who rolls the highest number of tails!
