What materials do you use?
There are a variety of battery materials. Some of the most popular materials are aluminum and aluminum alloys.
How do you make my battery?
There are three parts to a battery. First, an electrolyte is made that holds the charge of the battery. Next, this electrolyte is charged with current. Finally, the active material is connected to the battery, and the battery will start charging. In the diagram below, the green line marks the connection for the active material.
Where does my lithium battery come from?
Lithium batteries for the most part get their aluminum from the US Department of Energy (DOE), and the aluminum comes from the aluminum plant in Japan. It is not very common, but the aluminum plant also sells used aluminum.

Yes! There are a number of other common forms of lithium-ion batteries that will start charging.
Lithium-ion or Li-ion batteries
Lithium-ion batteries are the most popular battery type. They are the smallest, lightest, and have the lowest charging time of all the different types of batteries. Like lithium-ion, they are very cheap to make but usually very expensive to purchase. The best way to look for a lithium-ion battery is to look at it.

The term lithium-ion batteries are most often confused with the term lithium-ion batteries. In fact, they are more like battery types. Li-ion batteries can store more energy. They have the highest charge tolerance, making it possible for the batteries to be recharged with water or air. Lithium-ion batteries are not always used to replace the traditional batteries that come with devices like cell phones and laptops. Some devices have their batteries replaced by the Li-ion.
