Yes, they do. People who work with you to change your diet, sleep or body image want to hear from you and understand that there comes a time you are going to have to make some tough decisions. This usually happens for people who are just starting out in their career.
People often try to do more than they can handle for fear of failing. I encourage people to try and be good at what they do and to not let people tell you what you can or can’t do. There are those who will only listen to people who are already very well-versed in the field of nutrition and fitness. You have to be willing to do a little research and do your own research. The best people who give you their honest opinions are experts in their field, and some of these people are fitness or nutrition experts themselves.
What’s your secret for being a successful diet and weight loss life coach?
First and foremost, there are some very powerful forces out there that you can ignore. Take the time you need to take care of yourself. Stay in the present without worrying about the future. There are some people that are just too busy or too distracted and just can’t concentrate on what you’re telling them. If you can work these things into your reality, your career and personal life, you can make a huge difference in how successful and happy you will be. You’ll be able to keep your motivation up, you’ll be more effective and there is a chance your success might come at a higher cost. And that costs all of you, so you have to be on the lookout for that.
Do people take advantage of your life coaching service?
Yes, I get emails about how I helped them get their life back on track and what they’re doing differently today. Sometimes I will put up a newsletter because of the great responses to the articles I write. Sometimes it’s because someone has mentioned to me or someone has emailed me in regards to their own career and life.
Any last words for readers?
One of your first roles in life is to change the way other people see themselves. I believe everyone should look in a mirror and see themselves in a mirror first. After that, one step at a time and enjoy the journey.
