Your children will have a more open mind if they do not have to sit inside and be told what to imagine.
A good start to learning how to draw will be to ask them what they are interested in drawing. I usually ask them to try to picture what they want their characters to look like. This will give you a lot of insight on what they want to draw and that will help them form a vision of their character.
There are many other comics that you can use to practice these skills. However I recommend one book called “Superman’s Secret Mission”.
What is one of your favorite ways to get people to read your comics?
My favorite way to get people to read the comic is simply to put out an awesome story, and be honest with what you are trying to do. I always start with a very honest view of how I want to sell the comics. In comics you can’t always lie and the truth can be deceiving. With the super hero you can just tell a story and be honest with it. It will also be harder to get the people that you want to see the comics because you are not getting into the realm of superheroes by going with the mainstream view of a super hero.
What does your comic book collection look like?
I usually have around 5-10 characters in my comic book collection and most of them are either a solo series (Tinkerbell) or one of my co-created titles. They have evolved from the original concept of my comics but at this point most of my characters are all stand alone stories.
